A Day in the Life
LEEP Forward’s therapeutic preschool is designed to celebrate and nurture each child’s unique strengths while providing comprehensive support for neurodiverse learners. Our programs are tailored to empower children with a focus on fostering social connection, sensory processing, and emotional regulation in a welcoming, affirming environment.
Using evidence-based and strength-based practices, we create individualized learning and therapeutic experiences within small peer groups. We offer both morning and afternoon therapeutic preschool sessions to meet the diverse needs of our families.
Each group is guided by a dedicated lead facilitator or therapist and supported by a multidisciplinary team, including an Occupational Therapist (OT), Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Social Worker (SW), Physical Therapist (PT), Developmental Therapist (DT), and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Our intentionally small group sizes ensure a high level of individualized care, with a 1:1 or 2:1 support ratio, allowing us to celebrate and amplify each child’s strengths while helping them thrive in a connected and inclusive environment.
Daily Schedule Example
At LEEP Forward, we believe that play is the work of the child, and learning should be fun, engaging, and meaningful. Our approach harnesses each child’s interests and natural motivation to target developmental goals in an authentic way. Whether it’s strengthening communication skills during group storytime, building motor planning through movement and exploration, or developing social-emotional growth through interactive play, every experience is carefully designed to support progress while feeling natural and joyful. By embedding individualized goals into the child’s daily experiences, we create an environment where learning happens effortlessly, through play, curiosity, and discovery

"We look for that gleam in their eyes. That moment of connection when the world makes sense to them, and they feel seen. We don’t ask them to fit into molds that were never made for them. Instead, we aim to change systems and perceptions. We create opportunities to educate communities, normalize differences, and celebrate every child’s unique spark."
